Ye (formally Kanye) Rant

Wrote this a lil while back; figured I should share it. (This was written as Ye was doing a press run/constant interviews)

Hey guys it’s Adam from the Midwest. so-uh I wanted to talk about the current Kanye situation. I gotta be honest all the coverage from mainstream media, and Internet personalities of the situation are extremely depressing.

My (family member) is an intake coordinator for a service providers of disabled people in the area. She processes the paperwork for assistance and interviews every client in our entire county, and I’m pretty sure in our county they are the only place to offer this service for these people, which is anyone with a mental illness severe enough that they cannot live an independent life.

when I was 16 She told/asked me to work there as a direct support professional, I did it for about 3 years and learned a lot about the complexities of mental illness and disabilities. A male dsp is pretty rare so I worked mostly with the harder to handle young clients. some examples of their diagnose’ are

A Non verbal youth with Down syndrome, ocd, and autism

His brother with autism, oppositional defiant disorder, and Intermittent explosive disorder

Kid the same age as me with fetal alcohol syndrome, and so many complexities that followed it that I can’t really explain them, but he was essentially in the same state of constant mania that Kanye is.

Any media or information he consumed was also blended with his formative memories and they would intertwine in his own narrative of reality. In the middle of talking about a movie he would connect it to a traumatic memory, which than tied into how he went on tour with kiss. There was no correcting him in what was reality and what isn’t.

Bipolar disorder is an extremely simplified disorder in the mainstream understanding. People don’t snap in and out of mania, life is a constant management of extreme urges and severe mood swings that are heavily influenced by the persons emotional state of mind, media intake, and large life events.

When I hear Ye (Kanye) during these

Interviews he sounds exactly like countless clients I’ve worked with. And the fact everyone is trying to logic him into a corner is making him go deeper into mania, and since he has a support network which is supporting his intertwining of abstract ideas with serious white nationalist theories I think this is an extremely dangerous situation that no one in media, especially the people interviewing him, are prepared to handle. I’m scared of what will happen.

We are watching a man spiral deeper and deeper into mania after going through extremely stressful life events caused by his refusal to take meds. My moms has seen this happen to people who aren’t billionaires. For them they end up dead in the street. For Kanye he’s put on camera for everyone to watch it live.
