Wrote this a lil while back; figured I should share it. (This was written as Ye was doing a press run/constant interviews) Hey guys it’s Adam from the Midwest. so-uh I wanted to talk about the current Kanye situation. I gotta be honest all the coverage from mainstream media, and Internet personalities of the situation are extremely depressing. My (family member) is an intake coordinator for a service providers of disabled people in the area. She processes the paperwork for assistance and interviews every client in our entire county, and I’m pretty sure in our county they are the only place to offer this service for these people, which is anyone with a mental illness severe enough that they cannot live an independent life. when I was 16 She told/asked me to work there as a direct support professional, I did it for about 3 years and learned a lot about the complexities of mental illness and disabilities. A male dsp is pretty rare so I worked mostly with the harder to handle young clients. some examples of their diagnose’ are
